Our friends at the North-Central Alberta Amateur Radio Club are hosting an event they are calling Back to the Future With CW.
When: 9:30 AM on Saturday, May 23, 2026
Where: 100 Giroux Rd., St. Albert. (that’s Fire Station #3, see the map below)
What it is: There is growing interest in CW as a mode of communication for hams. Jim Nichols, VE6GL, will be presenting Back to the Future with CW. Jim is an avid CW operator and an active member of the Long Island CW Club. He plans to offer an introduction to the relevance of CW, the growing interest in the mode, and how you can become proficient in CW.
